Available HDD Capacity

iMac 27" 2.8GHz Core i7 4GB; MacBook Pro 13.3" Core i5 4GB
I feel stupid but I cannot find used or available HDD space anywhere. I have a 27" iMac i7 with OSX. Help please.

Click on your Mac OSX HDD on the Desktop, then press the space bar.

2011 Mac mini and 2010 13" MacBook Pro, iPhone 4 and iPad
Open a Finder window. Select Macintosh HD and at the bottom of the Finder window it will show the amount of space left on the drive. Another way is to go to Utilities >Disk Utility and then select Macintosh HD. It will also show available/used space and format info at the bottom

Or go into 'About this Mac > More Info > Serial ATA' and this will provide information on the capacity of your hard drive, its speed, and the amount of free space available.
