My flatmate recently bought a set of Logitech X-540's, and I loved the sound so decided to buy a set for myself. We're both using identical MacBook Pro's with identical speakers, but mine sound significantly worse - the vocals are totally lost in the mix and the bass is way too loud. I even copied his iTunes equaliser settings, to no avail.
Could there be something buried deep within the settings that could separate the two MacBooks? Cheers.
