does anyone know of any good FREE video converting software to make ts_video files into mpeg. i did a search on the forums but only found a topic how to copy dvds.

handbrake on version tracker, I have it, but it takes a really really long time to creat the mpeg file, I could watch the movie twice or sometimes more...
