Restoring to factory settings Macbook Pro 5,5

Hello, How do I restore my Macbook Pro 5,5 to original status. I didn't receive any disks with it.. Thanks for any and all help. It has been running super slow and I can only guess, I've downloaded something that is slowing it down. I've tried the repair tool, but it is still running slow..

2017 15" MBP, 16gig ram, 1TB SSD, OS 10.15
Go to the Apple Store...and purchase the $29 dollar Snow Leopard OS install disk. That will give way more troubleshooting & maintenance options.
