I have recently just bought a Western Digital Elements 1TB and wondered if it was possible to plug it into the USB port on my Thomson TG782T router to allow me to access it from my MacBook Pro through wireless. The guy in the shop said this was possible but I have plugged it in and my Mac can't detect it? I formatted the drive as Mac OS Extended (Journaled).

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks :)

You may need to set the drive sharing up in the Web config of your router.
