To be honest, that seems logical to me. Just at the top of head I can't really think of a need for a rear camera. The unit is a little too big and bulky to use as a normal camera. It's just the wrong size. Most people would have a camera for such uses at the very least in their phone in their pocket.

Now, the front camera does have a good use for the obvious facetime or other video calls.

Can you just imagine holding it up and trying using with a rear camera? That would get tiring pretty fast. Not to mention it wouldn't be practical as you would also need to hold it pretty steady as well.

Those pics are about as useless as looking at an invisible ipad and claiming it has a...whatever on it.
For some reason though, this reminded me of the new Amazon Kindle commercial showing a woman and a man next to a pool, where the man is having a hard time viewing the screen...etc... Do you guys know where it went? Because if you look carefully, it's actually not the ipad! Unless there are two versions of it on tv.
