play audio from a pages document

Hi there.

Just wondering how to play an audio file from a "Pages Document".
I am a solo/singer guitarist and have an extensive song lyrics list in Pages. Some songs I play with guitar only and others with a backing track. Here comes my problem. I wish to keep lyrics in view while a backing track plays.

Hope this is clear. Can you hyperlink or embed a link or something?

Hello,
You can if the songs are in iTunes, it might not be exactly what your looking for though.
In the pages document you want to have the song, click the media icon in the toolbar, switch to iTunes and drag the song into the document.
A audio icon will appear, when you double click it, the song will play.
Selecting the audio icon and opening the inspector and going to the quicktime icon will let you set if it loops, loudness, start/stop.

I think that might do the trick for a while but it does make it a much larger file though.
