Without some sort of Windows Boot Manager, you can't. The Windows installer will "see" Vista as an older copy of Windows and refuse to install it.
You would have to divide the Vaio hard drive into two partitions, make them both primary, and then use a Boot Manager to "fool" the Windows installer into thinking that the new Vista partition was the only one on the hard drive. And each time you boot, the boot manager will have to make the partition you're booting to "active". That's the way Windows (and MS DOS works).
If you want a great Windows Boot Manager I suggest BootIt Next Generation from the folks at Terabyte Unlimited.
