Ok, heres my question (and why I registered for this forums) my dad is a mac fan, and his laptop is getting to the point where it has to be replaced. the battery is pretty much shot, and well, its old (hard drive is tiny, ram, cpu, etc)
Heres our problem though, my sister and I are in college, and so money is tight. We cant afford to drop the money required to buy a mac, so I thought of a work around. My current laptop I got is more powerful than the mac book pro, and well, I dont really need it.
any way I could install OS X on my laptop? Dad would love it because he gets his mac, and everyone is happy because we dont drop about 2100 dollars on a similar mac.
