I see plenty of posts about downloading an arabic keyboard, past on letters, etc, etc, but is there a separate arabic keyboard peripheral I can just buy to connect to my existing iMac and Macbook Air by USB or Bluetooth?

My intent is to connect the new Arabic keyboard whenever I need to switch to Arabic writing? There are certainly windows keyboards that can just be plugged into a PC to switch languages, but does Apple have it as well?

Any help would be appreciated.

Any keyboard can be plugged in to the mac, as long as the corresponding keyboard layout is selected in System Preferences / International or System Preferences / Langauage and text (in Snow Leopard)

So get a PC Arabic keyboard and give it a try. You may want to create a second Arabic user account to make it easier to switch between your native language and Arabic
