if there are any programs out there to design floorplans. I have seen them for the PC for about £10-20 and dont seem to be able to find any for the mac.. I dont want to spend a load of money on it..?

Hmmm.. you can do office layouts in OmniGraffle...
Download the trial from omnigroup.com and see if that works for your needs...

Thanks apt.. I probably didn't explain as clearly as I could have in my original post. I want to rework the layout of my house as it needs a lot of modernising. I have seen applications that you can buy that allow you to draw your 2d floor plan out and then convert them into a 3d model.. I know that there will be expensive CAD type applications out ther but they are way to expensive and complex for what I need..

this is what we used 3 years ago, probably shouldn't say we, my wife was the computer wiz back then (still is lol)

it is probably better now but we were able to pull walls down and refigure the whole house on an early version
