...and it's still a love/hate thing right now. But I can see my Mac Mini being my soulmate one day!!! I already have a URL (domain) and a web hosting service. Does the Mac come with any website building software as is (from Apple.com)? If not, any recommendations of the Adobe softwares that can do a million other things, too? There are so many of them. ...not worried so much about cost. Thanks . . . Dogbreath

I kind of want Adobe software that will handle photo work and .pdf stuff and Dreamweaver, etc...

Have you tried iWeb (it's in your Applications folder)?

As far as PDF goes, not sure what your goal is, but OS X can produce PDF files inherently. Any document you go to print can be saved as a PDF from the Print dialog.

Congrats on your new Mac!

Your Mac has iWeb, which my father enjoys very much!

iWeb that others have mentioned will work but it's no Dreamweaver for sure! Give it a try though and see if it will do what you need to get done.

Yeah, iWeb is to Dreamweaver as Matchbox car is to a car, but if all you want is a non-sucky personal website it will get the job done.

Your Mac also comes with iPhoto (photo management and light editing), Preview (graphics and PDF viewer) and a lot of other cool stuff ... the Adobe stuff is great too, but not as shall we say MANDATORY on a Mac.
