Greetings:

Our company recently invested in two new imacs. The integrated webcams work fairly well overall... except for the one housed in a conference room which also hosts a rather large/wide conference table. We wanted to know if anyone could recommend a good wide-angle webcam for the imac. We've seen a few logitech webcams on various websites but read that the wide-angle view (in most cases) causes fairly decent image distortion... something we'd like to avoid.

Any help is greatly appreciated and we thank you kindly in advance.

There's quite few wide angle web cams out there including ones from MS and Logitech, however, neither seem to support OS X.

Here's a site that has a listing of Web cams that are compatible with OS X. You'll have to do a bit of digging to see if any of them are for wide angle view.

Here are two options

Does anybody have any input or experience with this?: Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 with 1080p. It is MAC compatible...but I am not sure if it is just plug and play like this one: Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro for Mac.
