Update of last played not happening

Hi,

Absolutely new to MAC world. Have an IPhone which was synced with Windows. Just got a MacbookPro last week. I have managed to get all my podcasts & iTunes from Windows machine to Macbookpro using home share.

The problem is that some of the podcasts which are marked played in Windows appear as unplayed in Mac. So need help how to get the unplayed status also inherited.

If they are marked as played on your iPhone, syncing it with the MBP should make them played on the MBP. If not, just select all the played ones in iTunes and then mark them as played. from then on, syncing will mark anything played on the iPhone as played on the MBP.

Go to the podcast in iTunes, select everything (Either hold command while clicking or shift click the items) Then right click and it should give you an option to mark things as played or unplayed
