Thanks van for the heads up. It's interesting that Apple is doing an official live streaming. Usually we have to look elsewhere to get live material. It might be foreshadowing what Apple has in stored for us. It is a media event and Apple is rumored to introduce new media streaming services.

I'd much rather view the Keynote after all has been said and done- considering I'll be in class while the video is being streamed. Drat. (I'll not mention how fast the ethernet in the dorms are though..but that's not the point).

Edit:

I wonder if I can convince my 2nd class professor to stream the video..oh wait, that won't work. We use Windows here… *facepalm*

I would bring my iPod touch to class, but we're supposed to turn off all devices upon entering the lab..so..yeah. That sucks. And I really, really don't want to ditch class, but I really, really want to see this video streamed. Well, better luck next Keynote I guess. :\

And I don't think we can legally record this streaming with QuickTime Screen recorder (and I don't even want to try, but the thought still came up).

I'm sure like the others, a video will be posted shortly afterwards. You could always come by the forums after (or during) as well as I'm sure someone will post something as it happens.

And in case you have an aversion to the coverage Engadget provides, ZDNet and Ars Technica have live blogs as well.

Thanks Van. I much prefer the live blogs. (Cause of my slow internet connection). And I usually watch the video later.

Sadly I will be flying from Vancouver to Nashville at the time, but I look forward to the news coverage and watching the video in the peace of the evening.

I guess one advantage of living in the UK is that 10am pacific time equates to 6pm over here and so Ill be able to watch it as my wife prepares dinner! :)

I think the live stream is done simply cause of the keynote (we all know the one) where there was like 200+devices using the Wi-Fi. ANd it really disrupted the Wi-Fi connection to the iphone. Maybe Apple having a live feed of the keynote is a response to that.

You could be right. I know they had networking issues when they introduced the iPhone 4.

I just had to start working this week, didn't I? Oh well, I prefer live blogs anyway.
