Changing the ibook's internal ram...

Well... I've been reading this pbfixit guide Guide and it tells you how to change the internal ram chip, so I was wondering if it was possible to change the 256mb standard ram, and put a 512mb one to get more than the 1.25 gigs of ram. :cool:

The RAM that they're removing in that guide is the user-installable upgrade slot. If you have 1.25 GB, then you have a 1GB stick in that slot already.

yeah the powerbooks have 2 slots not 1.
