New Equipment

Just added the Nikkor 16-35mm 1:4G ED VR Lens to my arsenal as well as the best camera strap ever made the Black Rapid RS-7, for those of you that have never heard of this strap youtube it you wont be dissapointed!

The Nikkor 16-35mm 1:4G ED VR Lens is such a beautiful Wide Angle.. I unfortunetly dont get the full frame because im using a D90 but when I get my D700 its gonna be a different story.

I prefer Crumpler's Industry Disgrace. It's camo, so it looks like my camera is levitating

I was interested in the 16-35 when it was announced. What is the advantage of it over the 16-85?

More distance more zoom but its a wide angle and you dont get the N coating... I just wish it was faster glass...

I have a D5000 w/18-55 & 55-200 vr kit lenses.

My next lens will probably be either the Sigma 10-20 or the Sigma 150-500. Probably the the 10-20 first since it costs half as much.

16-35 is full frame (FX), 16-85 is DX format.

Since I have no plans to step up to FF that makes for me the Nikon 16-85 or Sigma 10-20 probably a better upgrade path.

If I had paid more attention the answer was in the OP about preparing to upgrade to D700.
