Base 21 1/2" iMac question

Hi all

I am a long time pc user looking to purchase an iMac. I primarily do the common e-mail, FB, etc. Editing my photo's, will be the most intensive use. My question is, will the new base model iMac with the i3 3.06 GHZ processor with 4 GB RAM serve my purpose?

It will run the lasted Adobe suit CS5, so it will do those things without a hitch.
