Hi,

I've been crazy with my MBP for over 2 hours until now.

I'm using Mac OS X Leopard, and I don't know why but I just can't see my shared MBP on my iMac Finder sidebar, the file sharing on Sharing preference pane is on anyway, and everything seems ok.

Any idea, please…

Have you tried connecting directly without waiting for the sidebar to show up?
In Finder, press cmd+k and type in the following:
afp://<ip_address>
Of course using the real IP address instead of <..>

Is your iMac set to show shared folders in the Finder sidebar? Go to Finder > Preferences > Sidebar and see what is checked there.

Alternatively, can you see the (shared) iMac on the MBP at all? If not, there's some sort of problem with your sharing settings and/or network
