Hi all,

Not sure if this is possible, but i guess here is the place to find out!

Basically, what i want to do is be able to access my itunes music (stored on my MBP) through my brand spanking new imac. I know that this is possible through home sharing, and it works perfectly when the MBP is not asleep, but I would like to be able to access it even if the MBP is asleep with the lid shut.

Is this possible?

I know that I can use WOL somehow, but not sure if this is the right solution, or even how to do it!

Thanks

Adam

No you cannot access a sleeping person. To have a conversation with them, they must be awake. Same with a computer. :)

You're headed in the right direction with WOL. Try this app out.

WakeOnLan
