Mcafee

I downloaded mcafee virus scan for my mac pro, snow leopard, 10.6, yet when I go to appliations to try and run it , I have a pop up box saying virus scan quit unexpetedly.
Has anyone else had this problem? and any tips on how to resolve?
I am a newbie....so go easy on me!!

I would uninstall that product if I were you. But if you want to run it and have already brought it then contact Mcafee.

McAfee will not -- can not -- give you added security. Only YOU can actually give you any security above what Apple already provided.
