Hello all,

What was Your first mac (or apple computer?)

I wana see which old model was the most popular. :)

I'll start with mine....

My first apple computer was an apple IIC. It had that little black and green screen. For some reason i never had a mouse for it. It brings back memories when i printed on my *NEW* Imagewritter 1 printer :biohazard

Please post your first apple computer:

Macintosh Performa 6320CD, I took it back after a week. I bought it thinking the Windows emulator that was popular back then actually worked, it didn't. My mini is the first mac that I actually own and use.

An Apple II... i think... I was really young... I just remember having dual 5.25" floppies. One for the OS and one for some alien game I used to play.

Of course I really liked my dad's suitcase-like "Compaq Portable" 8088... Green monochrome screen... oh yeah. :p

My first Mac was a Plus with 4 Megs RAM and External 40MB SCSI. It was replaced by an SE with 4 megs and 120 Meg HDD and later a IISI and Quadra 700. I really loved the Plus and still have it and it still works.

It was not mine, technically, but my father purchased an Apple ][ plus in the mid-late 1970's. No hard drive, 1 floppy drive, and you had to boot to whatever app it was that you wanted to run, using 5.25" floppys. He had to hire a guy to write business programs for it.

I had used assorted Powermacs for work, but my first to ever own was this 1.67 GHz 17" Powerbook that I'm typing on right now.

My first Apple was an Apple IIc. Appleworks was quite useful in my high school days. Castle Wolfenstein rocked.

My first Mac was a Mac Classic II, using System 7.
