A Quick Question which i hope you can help with.

The Nikon D90 has a comments submenu so that you can enter comments which are in the EXIF data.

the info i've added is (c) name
email address

now when i download the photos to Aperture and open the metadata and exif submenu there doesn't appear to be a comments box.

any ideas?

Thanks

Are you sure you're not writing that to the IPTC fields rather than EXIF?

Or it could just be that Aperture doesn't "see" custom EXIF tags perhaps.

Try opening the photo in a different program that can read EXIF tags (*coughSEEBELOWcough*) and see if the info turns up there. Then you'll know its just Aperture.

Thanks for that it's definitely in the EXIF as i used your link and i can see it on the "user Comment" under file info within the EXIF data so you are correct in that Aperture doesn't see it.

Thanks
