I like it, but it seems weird for apple after them adding gestures to the mouse. I think it will be more than just a track pad :)

Eh, it depends. I would almost rather have a trackpad than a mouse. Even though the mouse has gestures, I still have to move it around to move the pointer.

I suppose, I do miss the gestures when I'm using my iMac. I guess I'll give one a go when they come out :)

Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)
I'd like to see that when this happens, the an Apple version of the bluetooth keyboard with an integrated trackpad comes out.
If this ugly thing can have a trackpad , surely this work of art can add one

Personally I would not like a trackpad+keyboard all in one. I would want it separately. Then I can get a stylus and use it that way. I think the trackpad is in existence cause 10.7 will heavily make use of the multi touch gestures. And probably in ways most of us have not thought up before.

Is this the end on the mouse as we know it? No. But I think it's one step in that direction.

Why not a "glove" that will detect specific gestures like in the movie Minority Report?
I agree with the8thark, this is all moving towards an eventual phase-out of the mouse as we know it.
