Storing Data

So I purchased a new 1tb external hard drive the other day because I want to move some data off of my internal hard drive to save room.

What have I moved to the external drive?
Final Cut Express project and movie files
Aperture Vault
Movies in ITunes
And back up my mac - Did I miss something and should I move my ITunes library to the external hard drive and re-map ITunes to read the external hard drive or is this dump because then I couldn’t excess my Itunes Library if I don’t have the external connected.

What are people doing when their ITunes Library get very large?

I have three iTunes Libraries. One is just for radio drama/BBC stuff, one is a smaller music and video library of stuff selected for its suitability to the iPod, and the third is the larger music/video library.

1 and 3 are stored on a large external drive. 2 is stored on the boot drive.

This is just one way of many possible ways to deal with this. You can create or change iTunes libraries just by launching iTunes with the option key held down.
