Viewing P.C Webcam?

hi there i have a mate who has a P.C and i cannot view her webcam?

i have downloaded and tried with amsn and msn

and nothing?

any help?

Get him/her on Skype.

You might also have success getting them on AIM. You can then use iChat.

Microsoft keeps saying there's going to be an all-new, whizzy-cool version of MSN for Mac "soon" -- there is a beta, but who knows when the final will actually appear. You might try it out though, can't hurt.

Messenger 8 final will be released around when Office 11 is released, they announced that months ago.

It also works flawlessly to video or audio chat with Windows Messenger users. If you're having issues, it may be a firewall problem on either end of the conversation.
