Hi,
Does anyone know any image viewing software other than Xee that can view images like the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer or Windows Live Photo Gallery?
There's one function that I want but I can't use it with Mac's Preview or Xee: I want to be able to use the scroll wheel on my mouse to zoom in and out of an image easily.

Another question about mac: When I want to move files to a folder, the folder automatically opens after I hover over it for a very short while.
I find this feature a little annoying as I am used to Windows.
Does anyone know how to disable/change this?

Go to Finder/Preferences/General and turn off Spring-loaded folders.

Picasa also has a version for OS X that you might want to try. Don't know about using the scroll wheel for zooming though.

I like CocoViewX. There's also ACDSee for Mac, but that's still in beta.

Also, don't forget about QuickLook (built into OS X). Single-click to select a file, then hit the Space bar.

And I just found out it will let you view multiple files with the arrow keys just like Microsofts preview command. (learn something every day)

Go to Finder/Preferences/General and turn off Spring-loaded folders.

Or just make it a little slower to "spring". Work with it. Someday you might find that it's a useful feature. I don't use it all the time, but every once in awhile it comes in handy.
