Say you're on a forum or a realllllly long web site. Is there a quick way to get to the bottom besides the normal scroll? I love using 2 fingers on my touchpad but I'm looking for something quicker at times. Or like an "end" or "page down" button equivilent? Thanks!

I think he meant to say, drag the scroll box (aka handle, or thumb) to the bottom of the window.

Alternatively, press the "end" key on your keyboard. (If you have a laptop or a compact keyboard, press fn+down arrow.)

Command plus the down arrow will take you to the very bottom of any web page.

For those of you using Firefox and the unibody laptops with finger gestures then you can do a 3 finger swipe down or up to go to the bottom or the top of the page.

Except that doesn't work (unless you've enabled some obscure setting in System Preferences somewhere, which most people probably won't.)

Quickest way I know is to hold down 'option' and click the top or bottom of scroll window. Second quickest, if you don't what to use two hands, is to double click and hold on the track pad, the bottom or top of scroll window.

MultiTouch is worth getting to know. There's a lot you can do more readily via it than any other way. This, coming from a man who has traditionally hated trackpads with a bloody vengeance and habitually disabled them in the BIOS wherever possible.

I still use the 2-button+scrollwheel mouse cannibalized from my last laptop, but the more I use MultiTouch, the more I like it.

REALLY ? 6 neg rep points and this comment from some gutless wonder for sharing a tip I myself learned here ! REALLY?

"Can't give it up, can you? Your post was incomplete and confusing to n00bs. Stop being defensive."

Color me fed up and out of here . I have spent a great deal of time here over the last last 15 months helping as much as I could , but this is the last straw , I have gotten bad rep for sticking to what We were told was the stand on JB and know for helping ! And the worst of it is 6pts at once so must be a long time member with no guts to leave a name ! Of course you dont have to be a genius to figure it out , Guess I am not cut out for this place because I wont take this crap and not comment on it so....

Good Luck
