Iphone 4 sim question???

I have a sim card question. I know that the 3gs has a regular sim card and the new iphone 4 has a micro sim. I called AT&T the other day and I am not elgible for an upgrade until next year.So my plan was to add a line to my plan in which th iphone 4 would be my new line. I wanted to switch the iphone 4 to my line. When I called AT&T the guy told me I could do that and all I had to do was switch sims. Is it me or is this not possible to switch sims? What do you think I should do?

If the SIMs were the same size you could... But since they aren't, the Micro SIM will not fit into your 3GS.

Unless you got the numbers swapped on the SIMs too.

In other words, you would have to get AT&T to put the new account on your old SIM, and the old account on the new Micro SIM. In theory its totally possible to do that, whether AT&T will do that for you is a different question.
