I have a group of about 100 pictures. Some I have rotated 90 degrees
to set them upright.

However, when I burned them to a disc, and ran a slideshow, these pictures reverted to there original sidewise orientation.

Is there a way to maintain the rotation when burning them to disc?

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Try this …

What program are you using to create the slideshow?

I'll assume it's iPhoto. Check the version, I tried to recreate the problem using iPhoto '09 and wasn't able to. I created an mpeg-4 movie which I saved to my desktop and previewed in quicktime 7. It worked no problem.

It's the long route but you could rotate and export the images then re-import them and then create the slideshow. Just an idea.

Good luck with it.

rotation problem solved

I followed your comments, and solved my rotation problem.

One problem may have been - I was using Graphic Converter to run slideshow.

I brought all photos in to iPhoto, then re-exported to new folder.

And, all pix stayed upright. Thanks!!
