First off, this post isn't an ad to sell my iPhone... i just have a few questions before i put it on craigs list. I am the original owner of the iPhone, i bought it new in 2008.
It is an iPhone 3G, 8gig, jailbroke, unlocked model, 3.1.2 firmware. My plan now is to restore it with my custom 3.1.2 firmware, remove the sim card and sale it. Do i need to do anything else to get the serial number out of my name? I've read posts where people have said to take it to ATT and have it deactivated, however, this posts were from 2007... is that still something that needs to be done?
Any other advise from iPhone sellers, please post.
