After completing an system restore from Backup. My 20", Intel iMac, will not boot up. When powered up there's the chime, the grey screen with the logo. Then the screen darken's and there's a message, "You need to restart your computer. Hold down power key until the computer turn's off then press again to restart."
I've tried this several time's with and without the boot disk and it does the same thing.
Any suggestion's? I need to get this baby up and running.

You should be able to boot with your install recovery Snow Leopard DVD. Hold down the Option key after the chime and let's see if it will boot. If it doesn't, try resetting the PRAM/NVRAM. See the following Apple KB article.

Regards.
