First off let me say that I use an at&t modem/router that was given to me for free. I have a Linksys N router that I'd like to use as well. Is there a way to use both of them at the same time? Using 2 different signals and 2 different passwords?

It's possible. Don't know about those two. I use two routers - my main D-Link and then connect a Time Capsule to that via ethernet. Run a combo g/n network on the D-Link for my iPhones and PS3 and run an n only network on the TC for my Macs.. They're sitting at opposite ends of the house 100' apart which gives me a pretty good connection no matter where I'm at inside or outside the house.
