How to fix wi-fi connection

Your Mac's Specs
13" MBP - 2.7 Ghz, Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM.
My wi-fi connection through Time Warner has been extremely slow as of late. I reset the cable modem and router to no avail. Is there anything else I can do?

Slow in what way? Download speeds? Web pages loading slowly? Have you run a compare test against what your ISP advertised service is supposed to be?
