Ok, basically i want to know if it would be possible too connect to a wireless network on my universities campus, then use ssh to direct all my traffic through my own wireless modem (which is in my room, which is on campus).
the setup i have at the moment is a macbook pro, and an airport extreme with a wireless modem connected to it.
The room also has an ethernet port which connects straight to the university network, but i don't like to use it for browsing the web because they charge an obscene amount to browse any page that isn't a university website.
what i was thinking was that if i plug the ethernet cable into the back of the airport, could i ssh into it from on campus, or would i need to set up another server computer?
