I'm having trouble connecting my Onyx 820i to Audacity. Pro Tools picks it up right away, but when I switched to Audacity, the Input Source will not pick up the Onyx. When I go to the Preferences where it says Audio/IO, the only options for Recording are "Built-In Microphone" and "Built-In Input." Btw, I'm using a MacBook for this.

How do I get Audacity to pick up my Onyx as an input source? Thanks.

What OS are you using? I'd make sure you have all the updated drivers for the Onyx and the latest updates for Audacity. Beyond that, I can't imagine why ProTools would pick it up and not Audacity.
