I recently go hold of some CDs of census microfilm images made to run on a PC. The actual images had the file extension .@EX and were identified by my Mac as "Unix executable files" when I tried to view them but I doubt that.
I ran the files from a 1930 census CD thru MacLinkPlus Deluxe and successfully converted them to viewable JPEGS and though all was well, but when I tried the same thing with a 1920 census disk, the file ran through MacLinkPlus but were unconverted. I tried GraphicConverter but that didn't work either.
Has Anyone out there run into this problem and found a way to convert these nasties?
Jack
