Newb Question

Im Finally getting rid of my old bag of windows rubbish and im looking at getting a 27inch imac [ i fell in love at first glance ] but im a bit of a gamer and macs arnt known for gaming im only interested in games like


WoW
Runescape
Age Of Empires
And Counter strike

kinder games

but will the imac be good enough to play them?? i dont really wanna spend 1,600 quid and then not be able to do some of the things i enjoy

please let me know this is the imac specs in the link to pc world lol

It would definitely be able to play those games, you may need to run Windows through bootcamp though for some of them.

How bout just mac games a don't want windows near my baby when a get it windows gives me headaches lol

I know WoW runs just fine on the 27" i5 iMac.

WoW and AoE run just fine on my 3+ yr old MBP.

Steam is releasing a Mac version next month. So you should be covered.

The i5 iMac with the radeon 4850 will run all of those games flawlessly with maximum settings.

Yeah I play WoW on occasion and with max settings it runs gorgeous on my 27" iMac as well. And signed up and waitin' for Steam

Ok the gamin side was a big weight of doubt on my shoulders now when a purchase my iMac a will have peace at mind knowing a can play the games a enjoy id just like to thank the people who replied for your help it was greatly appreciated.
