Booting into OS9 instead of X?

is it possible to boot up into OS 9 instead of OS X?

under System Preferences >> Startup Disk, choose OS 9 .. unfortunately, you cant on the G5

17" iMac G4 800MHz 1GB RAM
OS9 is cool to go in and look at. I haven't used it "production" yet, probably never will. But it is very fast on my G4 iMac....
