Can anyone suggest a good antivirus software and antispam for Entourage?

If I install these programs would the performance of my computer be affected?

1. No you shouldnt need it have a read of The Official Mac Antivirus and Firewall FAQ thread.

2. Yes on a Mac that doesnt need a AV it is bloatware and will seriously bog down Mac

Anti-Spam should be built into your email host and is (junk sort feature) a feature of mail.

Tattooed got it right for the AV stuff. I can't vouch for the FAQ because I haven't read it. Just know that the UNIX underpinnings of OS X would require you to enter your admin password in order to install any sort of virus or trojan for your Mac.
