mmm, dual 2.7's *drool*

I just recently switched to mac after a long time of using Windows and several distros of linux... I am not the newest owner of a G5 but I have only had it a few weeks...

Anyways, specs are
Dual 2.7Ghz
2x512 preinstalled 3 gigs added later... soo 4x512 and 2x1GB
2 of the 512's were from my PC...
9650XT
600GB total hd space, thats including external harddrives

anyways... this thing flys, I couldn't be happier with this machine
sexy looking and powerful.

next on my list is at least a 23" Cinema display....

Seconding the good photos comment; that first shot is a particularly good composition/photograph for a "my system shot". Second seems to have quite a pronounced barrel distortion to my eye, though...

now go get 2 apple monitor 30'' and a 3rd+4th for back up and a 5th because if u bought 4 ur crazy enough to get a 5th

Well first of all thanks for the comments, both on the system and the pics
The camera I used was a Canon 10D, the barrol distortion kurumonkey noticed was because of the crappy lens I was using... 35-80, it was right on top in my camera bag so I just decided to use it...


My main use for my mac is anything digital photography... Photoshop, Capture One, PhotoMechanic, iView Media Pro... I also use illustrator, indesign, dreamweaver, and flash quite a bit and everynow and then I play around with 3d Modeling, lately I have been using Cinema 4d a bunch

I also do a bit of video editing but not very hardcore stuff...

and zap, I wish I had a 30" Cinema display
