centering the dock

how do you center the dock?? my dock was centered before but after i changed my dock to the right of the screen, when i go back my dock is placed on the bottom far left hand side. hmMmmm. can't seem to figure this one out.

also, anyone know how where to open shapeshifter themes in? i downloaded a theme but don't know where to launch it for it to work.

thanks in advance :)

you must go into system preferences and click on dock. you will be able to move the dock there. as for themes, you have to have shapeshifter installed.

My dock does not move to the side it always remains centered not matter what side its on. I don't think he meant that

i know to look in system preferences but when i click on positioning the dock on the bottom, it applies the dock to the bottom on the left hand size, not at the center where it is supposed to be.

i do have shapeshifter installed btw but don't know where to open up the theme in which folder?

i have clear dock.. how can i get rid of it and have my dock centered again? ahhh

uninstall or disable cleardock, system/preference window ,that will tell you if thats the problem
