If I remember correctly with iWork08, I installed the entire package and then removed what I didn't need. It was just a matter of dragging Numbers and Keynote to the Trash. I'm not sure if the iWork installation routine allows for separately installing only Pages - it's been some time ago when I installed iWork08 and seem to remember the entire package had to be installed first.
No, I don't think I'm short of disk space. Frankly, I don't know how to use the other two programs - so, why keep stuff that is not going to be used. Thanks for asking.
I only hope I will make it to see 92, much less still have enough brain to use a computer. I hardly have enough left now to use one due to the misadventures of my troubled youth.
Pete, you might be shocked to know that Microsoft reports that the #1 use for its Excel spreadsheet program (Numbers is Apple's version) is to make lists! You don't have to know how to set up formulas to make good use of a spreadsheet. The structure for putting things in rows and columns is built in, and it's lots easier than using 'tab' in Pages would be.
