Hi, noob here. Have downloaded HD music to my macbook in itunes, audacity and songbird. The files have mostly been converted by max from flac to wav but show in itunes as 24bit 96khz so they're in and in hi-res. The Audio midi utility is set to 2ch 24 bit 96khz.
But when i play them through my DAC its hd light stays off showing that my macbook is not sending 24/96 to the DAC. My macbook has toslink optical and USB outputs (no firewire) my DAC has toslink optical, coax, bnc and USB inputs. At present I'm using toslink optical connection. Can anyone help, please?
