Why iPad??

Is it just me or does anyone else think the iPad is an inconvenient peice of equipment??

Fair enough it would be pretty cool to watch movies on in a flight or maybe in a car trip. It's too big for a pocket so you need to take a bag, so why can't you just pack your MB/P?

I think even the iPhone/iPod touch would be fine to suffice if you didn't want to carry your laptop.

So for those that already have an iPhone and a MB/P - really, what is the point?

If you don't understand the need for this product, then it's clearly not for you.

heh I really like it. I read a lot of books and reading on my iPhone isn't horrible, but it's not great either. To be able to carry around my whole library will be awesome. plus of course all the other things the iPad can do. For me though it's the ebook reader part that has me sold.

I'm sorry, but this topic has been beaten to death in the last month. Pretty much all the pluses and minuses along with those that love it and those that hate have all had their say.
