Need help with Airport and shared music library!

Hi everyone! I have a powerbook with itunes, now i live in my university and there is a network that all the student rooms are on and we all share our music via iTunes. I have recently added an airport extreme to my room but now i cant access the shared music because my power book only see's the internal airport network and not the external uni network! Can i fix this???
