This article is recommended reading. In case you hadn't been keeping up, Intel had slapped down NVIDIA's request for a license to the bus on their new chips that connects to the integrated graphics processors (which Intel makes very poorly in comparison to NVIDIA). ATI was bought out by AMD, so they are making fairly decent integrated processors.

This new chip is likely to do a couple of things... extend NVIDIA's relationship with Apple, and also give some pretty powerful graphics to your system when required, and switch to a mobile integrated chipset for light use on an app by app basis.
