Snow is only nice before Christmas, snow days off from school, and if you are at home and don't have to go anywhere. Otherwise, I'm done with it!

I'm in NW Ohio and over the 2 days we've gotten 10 inches of snow. It's now stopped snowing, but it's just drifting all over the place now. I hope I don't have to go out a third time to deal with it. :(

...aaaaannnnnnd that's EXACTLY why I live in the desert. :) I spent 22+ years in Indiana. I don't miss shoveling snow and driving on the snow and ice one teeny tiny bit!

There is very little snow on the ground and barely below 0 outside. Ironic part - I live in Canada.

We do not get snow in the south often. Maybe about 1" of snow every 5 years. lol
I always wanted to build an Igloo. I might just go to Utah to do that.

That exactly the reason I moved to Southern California. I HATED shoveling and I hated the cold even more. Now I'm enjoying 60 degrees at the moment, with temps rising to the 70s by the weekend. Not bad for February :D

It's not the snow I have a problem with, it's the ice

We've only had a little over 30 inches so far this winter, most of it from three "events". It's been a very mild winter. But, we pay extra in taxes for the equipment the City needs to remove the white stuff, whether it snows or not. Shoveling the stuff is good exercise, as long as you don't overdo it.

What's this snow you speak of?

In Southern California we get none of it here.

I don't remember the last time it got below 40 degrees fahrenheit (besides way early in the morning).

I live in New Mexico- specifically the Albuquerque area, and we do see our heavy snow years, our no snow years, and our normal years. This year it's somewhere between normal and heavy. And we're seeing convective rain showers (what some, if not most, would call rain showers with embedded thunder)..which is the norm for this time of year. However, the heaviest of rainfall doesn't happen until late March.

I am across the state from you and you're right. We get snow about once or twice a decade. Last time it snowed here I flew to Iowa for Christmas break and it didn't snow in Iowa while I was there. I fly back to Louisiana New Year's Eve and it snowed within hours of my landing in Louisiana. Go figure

Stop making them then. ;)

The storm that just passed through here dumped about 10 inches throughout the city. Schools were open, businesses were open, government was open. Within hours, all streets were plowed.

We have about 3 feet on the ground now. I'm so tired of looking at it, shoveling it, walking in it (can't drive anywhere!). I haven't had to go to the office since last Friday when they sent us home early when conditions started to get bad. On one hand - woohooo, free vacation! On the other, I'm so bored.

Snow is very beautiful...however after living in Redmond, WA for two years (Texas boy here) I hate it! Well don't hate it, just could do with out it. Not a fan of all the problems it causes.

However as I write this, it's coming down pretty good here in Dallas, THIS is what's considered a blizzard down here in theses parts ;)
