I have a Roland VS-880 Digital Work Station (V Expanded) connected to a Tascam US-144 via the digital audio cable. The Tascam is connected to my iMac running OS X 10.5.8 via USB. I am using Soundtrack Pro.
The problem I'm having is that I can't get the Soundtrack Pro to record from the Roland.
Soundtrack pro recognizes the Tascam.
The Tascam control panel verifies a digital audio signal.
If I go to Audio in the system Preferences, choose Tascam 144 for the input and play the recording on the Roland the input level registers the signal.
But if I try to Record using Soundtrack I don't get anything.
HELP!
