Is there a way to have the hotspot turn off the display? Right now I ahve my screensaver set to a black screensaver, but is there a way to turn my display immediately off?

system preferences>energy saver> put display to sleep when inactive for:. this only sleeps it, and that light on the front will stay on.

I know that, but I was wondering if there is a way I can immediately turn of my monitor rather than waiting for a certain amount of time?
